The Manual
Remedy Place is the world’s first social wellness club, with a well-earned reputation as the ultimate hub for fashionably fit people. At sleek facilities in Manhattan, Los Angeles, and Boston, the club invites guests to access innovative treatments like hyperbaric chambers, AI massages, and red light therapy, guided by experts in the field of self-care. In 2024, Remedy Place’s charismatic founder, Dr. Jonathan Leary, sought to amplify the club’s impact by sharing open educational resources spanning subjects like environments, relationships, and sleep. He called his program “The Framework,” and brought on Abbreviated Projects to make it real.
Living proof
We began by wireframing a site experience that would make The Framework’s ever-expanding library of videos and editorials digestible and attractive to audiences. Opting for a nonlinear navigational style through the program’s seven pillars, we invited site visitors to define their own learning journey based on what’s most relevant to them at the moment. To validate The Framework’s real potential to uplift human health, we embedded Dr. Leary’s own biometric data alongside multimedia content, reinforcing the relationship between practice and progress.
The new face of Remedy Place
Adapting Remedy Place’s signature branding for this new initiative, we defined a distinctive sub-brand for The Framework optimized for education. A custom logotype references Remedy Place’s familiar “sliced” letterforms, while hyper-technical user interface elements lend an overall sense of precision. From header to footer, the platform feels like Remedy Place’s scientific sibling.
Let the learning begin
Remedy Place launched The Framework in March 2024, establishing the club and its founder as influential arbiters of health and wellness inspiration. Dr. Leary now sits comfortably at the forefront of a movement toward holistic, science-backed self-improvement.
